I
judged so carefully who deserved
The
affections of my heart;
My
kind words, my tolerance,
My
compassion, my love.
I
missed so many lessons
That
were sent to me
With
mercy from God above;
I
now weep for the underfed
Wishing
I had fed them more
Than
my meagre portions of love.
